Our People

After years of thinking I wanted to work in one industry in the Spring of 2001 I did a complete U-turn and left college at 17 years old, with no idea what I wanted to do but knowing I needed a job. I took a job in a recruitment agency, which in turn turned into an apprenticeship in a small independent mortgage company as an administrator. The following year I passed my driving test and started working for a slightly bigger independent firm of Estate Agents. Through the years I have worked in a variety of both corporate and independent firms.

In 2007 I found myself selling a house for a lovely gentleman called Adam, he introduced me to his boss Melvyn Danes and the rest they say is history. Sadly, the following year the recession hit. Changing direction once more, I reverted to my initial dreams of working in the hospitality industry where I happily stayed for several years. Ten years and three children later, I found myself needing a new job and back at the doors of Melvyn Danes, Adam, and this time Sam Livingstone. I have happily been working in the Sheldon Office as a Sales Negotiator (Sam’s right hand lady!) for the past 4 and a half years and my intention is to be here for many years to come.

I currently live in Castle Bromwich, with my husband, three children, shih tzu puppy and an array of other animals. We are a busy household with Mom’s taxi being in constant use! Having worked in both the Sheldon and Shirley office of Melvyn Danes my children love nothing more than a car trip with me relaying every single house I’ve ever sold or spot the Danes boards – there are certainly plenty of them around!
