After a successful house move with Melvyn Danes nearly 30 years ago, I literally ended up as part of the furniture.  I have watched Melvyn Danes evolve and have had the privilege to be part of this.  In fact, clients I dealt with 30 years ago, still pop in to the office, mainly for a chat, or to introduce their own children, who have then jumped to that next generation, seeking their first home.

I feel as a Company, we offer a very personal service, as moving house, as we know, can be stressful at times.  I refer to my colleagues as ‘my work family’.  I like to think we offer this friendly, family service to all our clients as well.

I am Shirley born and bred and get teased that, by the way, life does exist beyond B90.  I am very fortunate, as my very favourite pastime is spending time with my husband, children and three beautiful grandchildren, who all, I am pleased to say, agree B90 is a great place to live.
